Weather in Rocky Point is almost always Sunny,
however, you may want to see temperature ranges as your trip approaches.
In a
new, Playa la Jolla exclusive, we now have a weather station located inside
of Playa la Jolla, reporting data every five minutes. If you click on
the graphic below, you can also access historical information. Below
are the current conditions as actually reported in the community.

| It is typical for Rocky Point to be
more "moderate" than Phoenix and Tucson. In the summer, the
highs are 15 degrees or so cooler, and in the winter, it is often 10
degrees or so warmer. This is due to the "ocean effect", where
the winds bring air to the community that has been out over the
ocean.
If you want even more info, every
major weather service appears to estimate the weather conditions since they do not
have actual measuring equipment in the area. We provide the links to
the major services below as a courtesy for your use.

WeatherUnderground graphic are not showing, there is a reporting problem.

Note: The state of Sonora, Mexico,
which includes Rocky Point, does not observe Daylight Savings
time, which means it now matches Arizona time all year long:
| Late October to late April |
Time Zone is same as Mountain time |
| Late April - late October |
Time Zone is same as Pacific time |
